What do you expect at 6:30 in a winter morning at a slum of TRILOKPURI New Delhi?
Serpentine human chains waiting for few buckets of water, stinky overflowing sewage pipes, and few barely covered kids getting ready for earning their livelihood!
We will experience something different this time.
December 1st 2012 will bring some favorable changes in the lives of slum people. Though, there will be human chains waiting their way in queue, but not for water. A group of few young social activists called “Lakshya Aakriti Children’s Home [LACH]” has conceived an idea of distributing used cloths to the people of this slum as a reason to enjoy lovely “Dilli Ki Sardi”.
Considerably, an Australian group of social workers called “Forget me Not” is taking part in bringing the smile on faces of needy people.
Team Lakshya organizes such events under its key program called H.E.L.P. that means its constant support towards Health, Education, Livelihood, and Possibilities of the needy. Currently, team Lakshya is visiting with every household, as well as companies in NCR region to seek their support in form of used cloths and sponsorship.
Being a responsive and sensitive Delhite, you can take part in this ride as a volunteer or giving away your used cloths such as mufflers, shorts, jackets, and sweaters. Your unusable stuff can be a gift for someone.
Please provide your gentle support to this event!
